Open Access Information and Policy
The Journal of Cyber-Physical-Social Intelligence (JCPSI) is an open access publication of the Association of Global Intelligent Science and Technology. The journal emphasizes advancements in automation and autonomy achieved through incorporating artificial intelligence into Cyber-Physical-Social systems to enhance the seamless integration of physical components and computation with human-in- or human-on-the-loop.
All articles published by JCPSI are promptly accessible worldwide through an open-access license. This entails:
- Unrestricted and cost-free access for everyone to the complete content of all journal-published articles.
- Permission for anyone to reuse the published content, with proper accreditation/citation to the original publication.
- Support for open access publication by authors' institutions or research funding agencies through a comparatively modest Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles.
No special authorization is needed to reuse any portion of an article published by JCPSI, including figures and tables. For articles published under an open access Creative Common license, any part of the article may be reused without permission, provided that the original article is explicitly cited. It is important to note that the reuse of an article does not indicate endorsement by the authors or JCPSI. This openness extends to all elements of JCPSI journals, such as data, graphics, and supplements, allowing them to be linked from external sources, scanned by search engines, and reused by text mining applications, websites, blogs, etc., at no cost. The sole condition is the proper accreditation of the source and original publisher.
JCPSI believes that open access publishing encourages the exchange of research findings among scientists from diverse disciplines, thereby facilitating interdisciplinary research. Furthermore, it ensures global access to research results for researchers worldwide, including those in developing countries, as well as for an interested public.
It's important to note that certain articles, especially reviews, may contain figures, tables, or text from other publications, for which JCPSI does not hold the copyright or the right to re-license the material. Consequently, individuals should inquire with the original copyright holder (usually the original publisher or authors) to determine whether the material can be reused.
